Observational Research Associate 

 

Main Tasks

 

? Working with Observational Research Manager to conduct epidemiologic research to support pipeline and marketed products:

? Supporting to develop study protocols and its statistical plan

? Ensuring the analysis and presentation of biomedical data is accurate and complete

? Candidate must be comfortable with using SAS

? Analyzing complex analysis data sets derived from various local data sources, such as HIRA, NHIS, EMR or other epidemiologic databases

? Utilizing the real world evidence (RWE) platform and multi-national RWE data of Amgen global office

? Conducts literature reviews and prepares research reports

? Development and management of publication planning

? Supporting interpretation and communication of medical or epidemiologic data

? Close cooperation with internal and external medical experts, regulatory affairs and CRO vendors

? Management of project-associated budgets, if needed

 

Basic Qualification

 

? Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health or other relevant scientific subject

? At least 2 years SAS statistical programming experience or Certifications in SAS program

 

Preferred Qualification

 

? Prior experience with large databases and observational research with pharmacoepidemiology methods is strongly desired. 

? Communication of scientific information (written and oral) with medical professionals or health authorities 

? Working level of oral and written communication in English
